Shaking Up the Rules
Shifting Perception
Love rebith
Libra, you are shaking it up and changing all the rules this week. It is a week of destiny where your future is right there; your soul knows exactly what you need to do to make the changes that will shift your power and your success. We start with Mercury retrograde trine Jupiter, and for you, this is about making small habit and pattern changes to secure your financial abundance. You are a creature of love and harmony, but you’re dedicated to succeeding this week through minor tweaks—not big actions or extremes. A tiny shift of perception is what will bring the success you desire.
Jupiter is also going direct in your career zone. If you’re not working, this is about where you want to put your life force and how you see your future security. But the most important changes are connected to your soul’s journey and the evolution of your spirit. With Mars and Mercury joining forces with the North Node—the light of our soul compass—you are doing a real inventory of your life. You’re stripping back habits that no longer serve you and dedicating yourself to a future that’s right for you. Through those small shifts, you will succeed beyond your dreams, and you’ll be surprised at how little outward action it takes to propel you forward.
But what about love ,asks your Venus-led heart? With Venus, your ruler, sextile Pluto the planet of transformation, in your relationship and pleasure sector, there’s an end and a beginning. Embrace the changes as they lead to true heart fulfilment.

LIBRA
Time for self-care Good Medicine
Restore, revive, renew
You can’t give if you’re running on empty
Pace yourself, Libra. Cosmic activity in your house of work and wellbeing asks you watch for burn-out and pay close attention to that routine and those habits. Mars’ arrival in your 6th (2nd), has a touch of the can-do invincibility about it. But the total lunar eclipse in your 12th (3rd), says otherwise, Libra. This is time to stop, to examine your schedule, habits, work/life balance and what you engage in each and everyday on remote control.
Are you running as fast as you can but going nowhere? Reaching for coping mechanisms or self-soothing habits just to get through each day? Doing the same things without really thinking about whether they are good for you – or not? The eclipse is not a road block. It’s an emotional wake-up call for you. When you get to see the hidden cost of all this.
Often the only way this comes to light it when we stop. Or are made to simply by our bodies hitting a wall and having no more to give us. Please don’t let it get to that stage. The eclipse is in Virgo – a Mercury ruled sign. Mercury is retrograde in Pisces and your 6th. It’s ruling sector in your chart. Not only does this increase your chances of Mercury driven madness, but it can also add up to making mistakes and even accidents if you give in to Mars’ impulse to simply get things done.
Things must change now and you must be the catalyst for this. With a five factor stellium in your 6th – Sun, Mercury, ruler Venus until the 6th, Mars and the North Node, you can pivot when it comes to the following: Your day job (paid or unpaid), studies, diet, self-care, habitat, habits, routine, workouts, side hustle, co-workers, staff or the way you simply run your life. Instead of running for it. How do you make these changes? Small steps, Libra.
By all means have a plan in place if you intend to make big ones such as seeking new employment or starting your own hustle. But research and ready yourself until the Mercury retrograde is over. Small steps tell the universe you are open to bigger changes. They also have the effect of shifting your mindset so you embrace bigger ones. We now know it takes on average 66 days to establish fresh habits. Not 28 as previously thought. But you first need to start at Day One.
Simple hacks include mindfully breaking from what you are doing every 40 mins. Doing that run or walk in reverse. Going to a different coffee shop or supermarket. Ordering or buying something different. Getting your news from several different sources (especially if yours comes entirely from social media), and then looking at how this impacts your own view of current affairs. Setting the timer on your phone for 10 minute windows to go stretch or else direct this into a goal activity. Opting to go for a walk or engage in a hobby instead of reaching for that nice glass of wine to unwind. This is how fresh habits form.
Look to the conjunctions between Mercury and the North Node (18th and 23rd), Mars and the North Node (13th) and the new Moon in Pisces (19th), to set new and highly workable habits. To declutter and also design that day around making the most use of your precious life, Libra. Pro tip under the Mercury retro: any chaos that occurs is likely to be linked to something that needs to change. Bring your focus to bear on this.
Mercury stations direct the same day as the Sun follows ruler Venus into Aries and your 7th house (20th). You now have an incredible five factor stellium in your partnership zone – Sun, Venus, Saturn, Neptune and Chiron. This delivers a partnership peak like no other you have experienced before. A new era of togetherness. Or a fresh definition of what this can mean.
How was last month’s Saturn/Neptune encounter at zero Aries for you, Libra? This took place on Feb 20. Something that has never occurred in our lifetimes. Nor will again. The end of one era of relating for you. The beginning of a Put a Ring on It new one. Infused by Neptune’s desire for a higher, more spiritual, union. But grounded by Saturn’s desire for foundation and commitment.
For some, this may have coincided with a major development in your personal relationships. At the very least, you were being asked to define a new manifesto for how you wish to relate and what partnerships look like going forward. Whether the conjunction brought changes or not, partnered or solo, you are now being called to clearly state your intentions.
When a major astrological event occurs, the degree it happened remains ‘charged’ by the planetary energy. In this case 0o Aries. It is then triggered when other planets reach it. Venus on the 6th and the Sun on the 20th. With other planets – Mercury and Mars, to follow. So, if the February event turned into a non-one, look to these dates for when shifts occur. Major decisions around an existing union or the emergence of a new one. Not just around long term love or your spouse, but any kind of dynamic duo or double dynamic. Working, collaborative or a long term friendship.
Other key dates include Venus’ first encounter to Neptune and Saturn in here across the 7th – 8th. And the Sun 22nd to 25th. If you have not yet crafted that personal partnership plan or contract with yourself, these are the dates to do so. With Mercury now direct, these are also dates to go seek someone new be it that love or working liaison.
Ensure when writing down your Partnership Declaration, you include in it the values that you need any kind of partner to share with you. The non-negotiables around what really matters. Trust, honesty, kindness, respect and outlook. We often forget how crucial these are when it comes to longevity of any union. Ruler Venus moves into its other ruling sign – Taurus and your 8th at the end of the month. It brings your focus onto what really matters in the long term. Look back at your past, Libra. Yes, someone may be hot. They may make you laugh. They can be fun to be around. But what determines togetherness goes beyond this. Staying power? That’s what you’re seeking and deserve now. Put a ring on that.
In a nutshell: A powerful eclipse in your 12th reveals something you may have been unaware of that you have been doing each day – which does you no good at all. Recharging or creating a better work/life balance is an act of love which leaves you with so much more love to give, Libra.

Libra Yearly Forecast 2026
I’ve looked at love from both sides now
From give and take and still somehow
It’s love’s illusions that I recall
I really don’t know love at all
Joni Mitchell. Both Sides Now
Illusion-free love is 2026’s promise to you, Libra. You’ve love myth-busting and real deal planetary changes happening in Aries and your 7th house as Neptune (Jan 26), and Saturn (Feb 14), take up residence. And form the ultimate put-a-ring-on-it union when they meet on Feb 20. Something which has not happened before in our lifetimes.
Neptune rules everything from the fantasy, fairy tale and situationship to that higher love and empathy. But Saturn is grounded, authentic and means business! Saturn transits are when things get serious. It tears down the illusion and delivers the real thing. Or else sucker-punches us out of our denial or delusion. So, to borrow from Joni Mitchell – these two planets represent both sides now when it comes to love or what you know about it.
Real love shouldn’t be hard work – but you do need to work at it. It also can’t be all romance and sparkles. It has to be grounded in the everyday. And above all, it must be right for you. That’s what the Saturn/Neptune odd couple in your 7th are here to show you. Libra and Libra rising can often seek out partners with very Aries qualities. It’s more than just ‘opposites attract’ at play here. The illusion is that Libra often sees those Aries ‘Martian’ go-getting qualities as something they lack. They don’t. They simply express them in a different way. So no, you don’t need to choose a partner on the basis that their qualities ‘complete’ you. You are already complete.
The last time Saturn was in Aries was 1996. If you were 18 or over back then, look to what you committed to. The last time Neptune was in Aries was in the 1860’s! Remember that Aries is the sign concerned with me, myself and I. So, no matter whether you are solo or settled, the main relationship you will be working on is the one you have with yourself. And understanding your needs in a relationship will be the key to seeing past those illusions!
For some Librans, this could even mean working on your relationship with yourself rather than desperately seeking someone. Especially if your search has been fuelled by pressure to couple up. You make that commitment to you. Others take an existing relationship to the next level because the reality is – it’s right. And the presence of both Saturn and Neptune can usher in the appearance of that hot contender. Your enhanced ability to understand what you need means you now recognise them. Whereas before you may not have.
However, if something has been limping along fuelled by denial and excuses – Saturn dissolves that happily ever after and shows you it’s now all once upon a time. And you won’t waste any more of your time on it.
March and April are key determining times as the Sun and other planets move into Aries and tango with Saturn and Neptune. The cosmic dance peaking with the new Moon in Aries on April 17th which brings an incredible seven factor stellium in Aries offering up what is possibly the most astounding new beginning for you this decade. April’s full Moon in your sign (Apr 2), places one particular dance partner in the spotlight for you. Strictly love or murder on the dance floor, Libra? The full moon shows if you are in step.
Jupiter in Leo – Dance Like There’s No One Watching
Pluto is now in Aquarius and your 5th of attraction, self-expression and romance for the long term. Your yearly pleasure cycle which takes place between January-February when the Sun and other planets move through Aquarius is merely a preview of what’s to come.
Blazing glory Jupiter in Leo along with the shift of the Nodes from your Pisces/Virgo axis into your 5th/11th houses are set to bring you one of the most loved-up, playful, creative and goal-getting cycles you have experienced in decades, Libra! Jupiter arrives in Leo June 30. The Nodes change signs on July 27 – moving backwards from Pisces and your 6th and Virgo and your 12th into Aquarius and your 5th and Leo and your 11th.
After what may have seemed like periods of heavy going alternated with cosmic drift these past few sssssssssssssssssssss years, this will hand you more than just a summer of love, Libra. But an 18 month cycle of unleashed joy, authenticity and creativity. You fall in love with your own life. And yourself. You stop caring what others may think. And it is this willingness to simply express yourself which makes attraction so effortless for you. Giving yourself permission is real self-love. You are not filtered or curated, Libra. This is no illusion. You are unleashed and complete.
Retro-Active Love and Eclipse Points
Friends and your network offer all kinds of benefits. A reminder that love doesn’t have to be the romantic kind to give us that sense of being seen and valued. It’s all love. With the shift of the Nodes comes a change of the eclipse axis. The two most important for you being the Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius on February 17 and then the Total Solar Eclipse in Leo on Aug 12. These are blind spots for you. Especially around love, partnerships, children and creative pursuits. A total eclipse is a complete blackout.
The Leo total eclipse is linked to the one which took place in August 2017. Something may emerge that was concealed back then. Or comes full circle. As a general rule, you should avoid making big decisions especially around partnerships, friendships and even whether to date or mate, in the two days leading up to these eclipses. And the two days afterwards.
Uranus: An Unexpected Journey
A subject or topic may seize your soul as Uranus re-enters Gemini and your 9th of long distance travel, far far away, mass media and learning on April 26. Even if you do not travel under this Uranus (highly unlikely), you will undertake an adventure of the mind or a metaphorical journey as you delve into a specific area of learning and study. Perhaps one radically different than has interested you before. This can be self-directed or even come to you via a work upskilling opportunity. As well as taking the traditional approach as this is your house of universities and higher education.
Uranus delivers fascinating foreigners, facts and upends your thinking. The world can turn up on your doorstep. That ethnic restaurant which has just opened up around the corner turns into your new haunt. Airbnb guests or roomies from other countries and cultures change your outlook. Or even those neighbours. Who you encounter opens up your mind and engages your curiosity.
And yes, unexpected, last minute journeys can happen. Or you find yourself travelling to a place you would never have imagined going to. That bucket list could now contain new destinations. And you’re going there.
Uranus electrifies with the sudden and surprising. This is your house of luck. Something appears like a bolt from the blue. That opportunity, that big love, that trip. Be ready when it does. And your ideas go further, engage and take you places. With Jupiter’s backing from Leo you don’t second-guess yourself. You just go with it.
Home Truths and Belonging
This year brings a Venus retrograde which begins at the time of your birthday season on Oct 3. Venus will begin its retrograde in Scorpio and your 2nd and then return to your sign on Oct 25 before heading direct again on Nov 14. When your ruler is retrograde, this is not the time to go looking for new love – or even that collaborator. And as Venus begins its retrograde in your house of money and values, it is also a good time to rein in your spending and look to your budget.
This year is bookended by supermoons in Cancer and your 10th. You may begin the year focussed on home and family thanks to the supermoon in Cancer and a stellium in Capricorn and your 4th. Decisions will be made around your home, living space, family and direction. You’ll then launch yourself out there in hot, passionate pursuit of those goals. But then, after spending the majority of 2026 in full flight, the last quarter of the year brings you back down to earth. For recharge and also to appreciate just how far you’ve come.
Venus will be direct again in November but December sees both Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries. You will end the year in the best position of all when it comes to partnerships and all your relationships, Libra. Trusting the relationship you have with yourself 100%. That’s no illusion.
